Investing is risky, or is it?
Warren Buffett And “Gurus”
Warren Buffett is one of the world’s richest men with a net worth of almost 90 billion dollars.
He is a very successful investor, maybe the most prosperous ever to have lived.
Most of us would take his advice and this could be a great thing to do, but is it really going to help?
Someone told me a few days ago that they have in the past bought a course from a big financial guru.
They thought it was going to be a good idea.
His life before had been filled with the angry tearing waves of the stock market, never being able to make money.
This course made him probably worse off than he was before buying from the “guru”.
He lost money.
In utter desperation, he asked the owner of the program what he did wrong, but to no avail.
He was asked if he bought right when they said to buy and of course he did not.
His job keeps him busy most of the day, so in the end, he lost money and was left feeling down.
How To Invest
The absolute best way to invest is to be smart.
Most of the time you can easily pick a stock to buy that will greatly improve your portfolio in less than an hour.
Some of you reading this may still not be sure about the risk that is involved in the stock market, don’t lose hope I have the solution!
The only way to become good at trading stocks is to trade stocks.
It’s as simple as that, you don’t have any fancy program to get started, just experience.
How do you get experience?
From stock simulators.
I recently heard of this great simulator from the Investopedia website, you can check it out here.
Have You Ever Invested?
Investing is such a tricky subject and I’m no expert, but there are many who are.
The best way to learn to invest is to do your own research.
If you spend 40 hours researching investing and you make 10,000 dollars that is 250 dollars an hour.
So tell me what you think, or if you have any advice in the comment section below.
Have a great day.
